How can we help?

Chirped is push-to-talk for jobsite crews — a live crew map, geofenced sites, and hold-to-talk audio. If something isn't working or you have a question, we're here.

Common questions

I can't enter a channel
Two things let you onto a site's channel: you have to be physically inside the jobsite (Chirped uses your location to confirm you're on site), and your crew needs token credit for the day. If you're outside the site boundary, walk inside and try again. If your crew is out of credit, the foreman can top it up from the map.
I can't hear the crew (no audio, but I hear the beeps)
First, check the volume and that your phone's silent switch is off. Make sure you've actually entered the channel (not just opened the app) and that you granted microphone and location access. If audio still doesn't come through after a while, fully close and reopen the app — and let us know, because we want to know about it.
How do workers join a site?
A foreman creates the site at the jobsite's location. Workers join simply by being physically inside that site's boundary — open Chirped on site and you'll be able to enter the channel. There's no code to type.
What permissions does Chirped need?
Microphone (to talk) and location (so your crew can see you on the safety map and so site geofencing works) are required to use the app on a site. Notifications are optional — they just let incoming chirps reach your lock screen. You can change any of these anytime in iOS Settings → Chirped.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings → Account → Delete my account and follow the prompts. This permanently removes your profile, your site memberships, and your data. You can sign in again later as a new user with the same Apple ID.
Is Chirped free?
The app is free to download and set up. Using a channel runs on tokens — a crew spends a small amount per person per day of use. A foreman buys tokens for the crew from inside the app.
